Peak Lounge Chair & Footstool by Peter Qvist Lorentsen

Adding a footstool in front of peak lounge chair is like putting icing on the cake. This set furniture design tells story from beginning to the very end, the tension between simplicity and complexity makes this pair unique.

Even though the structure looks a bit complex, the overall look is actually pretty stylish and streamlined, a modern furniture design that would fit modern interior décor. Peak Footstool has been designed to match Peak Lounge Chair, but it can also be used as a standalone sculptural stool. This set consists of 26 and 25 sub-elements made of laminated birch veneer that is individually oiled and waxed.
It’s Peter Qvist trademark to combine 3D modeling with skilled craftsmanship, he uses two different methods to complement each other to perfection. These methods create unique form of furniture that offers good balance of design, functionality, and art.
